Large-Scale
Proposals
Large private sector and government proposals, including RFP, grant applications,
qualifications packages, BAA, RFQ, and other bids, are generally characterized by
multiple volumes, a number of sub-contractors, and response times that span four
to eight weeks. By their nature, large-scale private sector and government proposals
are complicated projects that require careful pre-planning and scheduling as well
as significant resource commitment.

Oral
Presentations
Many large-scale private sector and government contract competitions require an
oral presentation in addition to the written proposal. The purpose of such a
presentation is not only to provide evaluation board members with the “big picture”
view of the proposal and, on occasion, to cover one or more proposal requirements not
covered by the written proposal, but most importantly, it’s to introduce your staff
and approach to your potential customers.
In our experience, the oral presentation is an opportunity to emphasize company and
product or service attributes that differentiate you from your competitors, instill
notions of corporate commitment, and promote personal chemistry (an essential ingredient
in any long-term business relationship). We have supported many oral presentations in
tandem with proposal writing and proposal management responsibilities. We’ll help
you design and set the “stage”, script your speakers, provide graphic support
(PowerPoint slide presentations, CD-Rom, and/or video), rehearse the presentation,
and ship all the support components to the presentation venue.

Task
Order Proposals
Task Order (or Delivery Order) private sector and government proposals are usually
small-scale, quick turnaround responses to capture work under existing GSA schedules
and ID/IQ contracts. Usually driven by specific outlines and/or formats, response
times for task order proposals fall in the five to ten day range — a near impossible
schedule for companies of any size. We have many years of highly successful experience
writing and preparing short turnaround bids such as Task Order proposals for our
clients and use a flexible proposal writing approach that addresses these time-critical
efforts.
