PP&A Proposal Writing Benefits

The Six Stages of Successful Proposal Development
Successful proposals, grants, and all responses to bid requests flow through the following developmental stages:

  • 1. Proposal Planning — PP&A analyzes the RFP, develops the proposal management plan, and organizes the proposal kick-off meeting.

  • 2. Proposal Theme Building — PP&A focuses on the facilitation of discriminator analysis, the development of a theme/ghost story, and the development, substantiation, and assignment of themes to specific response sections of your proposal.

  • 3. Proposal Development — PP&A staff members design the proposal including the physical layout of individual proposal sections, develop the preliminary draft proposal, produce the Pink Team draft proposal, and coordinate/facilitate the Pink Team draft proposal review.

  • 4. Proposal Revision — PP&A consolidates pink team draft proposal comments, prepares proposal author revision guides, and manages proposal revisions. We then create the Red Team proposal draft and manage the red team proposal draft review.

  • 5. Final Proposal Draft — PP&A consolidates Red Team comments and prepares author instructions for final revision. We manage the final proposal revision process, the production of the final proposal draft, the final proposal editing, and final compliance check.

  • 6. Proposal Production and Delivery — PP&A manages the final printing, coordinates the delivery, and prepares a back-up delivery of your proposal to ensure that a superior quality product is delivered on time.

PP&A staff members have over a century of combined experience in proposal management, writing, and editing. The proposal development stages listed above have helped us win over $3.5B in business for our clients and ensure compliant, on-time delivery of all our proposals every single time.
