PP&A Proposal Management and Writing
PP&A proposal writers have more than a century of collective experience
in proposal writing and proposal management for successful clients around the
world. We’ve helped our clients win more than $3.5B in all kinds of responses
and bids including RFP, RFQ, BAA, grant, Qualifications Packages, and more.
We’ve been on the other side of the table as government proposal evaluators, too,
so we know what a winning proposal looks like first-hand, and from our subsequent
experience, we know how what it takes to write and manage a winning proposal.
PP&A can provide proposal writing and proposal management support for you in
a variety of ways based on what makes the most sense for your business and objectives:
- Proposal-by-Proposal – We can manage, write, edit, design, check for
compliance, and/or provide desktop publishing and production for your proposal.
- Outsourced Proposal Writing Centers – We can provide on-site, full-time
support for all of your proposal, business development, and technical writing
activities.
- Blanket Proposal Support Contract – We can assist you and your staff at
all levels with all private sector and government proposal writing efforts on-site
and/or off-site.
Choose the Level of Involvement Right For You
We can manage your entire proposal writing effort, from the initial planning stage
through final production and delivery, or we can work with you on any of the specific
elements in between. We can write individual components of your proposal as well, such
as résumés, management plans, corporate experience/project descriptions, past performance
sections, technical approaches, quality assurance/quality control sections, etc.
Depending on the requirements of the RFP and the unique characteristics of your
organization and audience, we can also help you determine which PP&A proposal writing
services and activities will best help you respond to a RFP.
Playing By The Rules
The three rules of successful proposal writing and proposal management are basic but
crucial in proposal success:
- 1. Compliance. Your proposal MUST be 100% compliant with the RFP
requirements – If the evaluator(s) find anything that is out of place or
non-compliant, your proposal will be thrown out.
- 2. Readability. You will be judged on how easy your proposal is to read
and understand – Plain language and straight-forward communication are essential
to get your message or approach across to the potential client.
- 3. Visual Appeal. Your proposal will be judged on its visual appeal –
If your proposal looks messy or disorganized, you are sabotaging your effort.
A clean overall design with appropriately placed graphics and images is the
language of substantiation and will serve to bolster and support your words.
It’s an important point to remember that the proposal you submit is your introduction
or first deliverable to a potential new client – if you can’t follow the rules in your
proposal, they will question whether you’ll be able to do so during a contract.
